Group show - summer 2021 “Las Flapers exponen en verano”
I recently joined a group of artists in Seville and we decided to name ourselves “Las Flapers”, in a clear reference to the Flappers movement of the 1920s when women started to wear short skirts, smoke, drive and have fun.
We are very pleased to announce our summer exhibition in the gorgeous beach of El Palmar, near Cadiz.

With this exhibition, my intention is to evoke the South: the one where I was born, the one where I live and the one I dream of. Over the last years, my decisions and my trips often led me to warm countries, as if I was trying to find again the colors, sounds and wildlife of my childhood. Since 2007, the heat of Seville, its colorful facades, the happiness of its people and its exuberant fiestas have been settling down into my subconscious and creating marks that show in my art.

I’m happy to announce that my latest work will be on show in the cultural centre “Las Sirenas” of Seville, from feb. 03 to feb. 14. 2020.
With those paintings I want to claim the value of intuition in my artistic practice and I want to invite the viewer to explore his/her own.
